As a life coach I work collaboratively with clients to help them explore their situation and to focus on their goals and objectives and possible ways to achieve them. I also help identify obstacles that could prevent success and how to overcome them working to ultimately to shape a realistic plan to help the client reach their desired result and to spark change be it in their career or personal life.
My role as a mentor differs from that of a coach as I am able to provide support by offering information, advice and assistance from a place of experience in a way that empowers the client It is also more about accountability than self-exploration.
Coaching & mentoring differ from other therapies in that by nature it is solution-focused, action-orientated and pragmatic. Unlike counselling it is future-focused dealing with what is now and what is next. Coaching isn't about fixing you, you are own salvation, it's about drawing out and energising your personal resources and equipping yourself to move forward with confidence, courage and purpose.
I am an integrative coach and mentor which means I apply different tried-and-tested theories, models and techniques from multiple schools. I work like this because everyone is unique as are their values, beliefs and perspectives and no single approach can address their needs. My approach acknowledges and accommodates these differences so I can tailor my approach to best suit you to gain clarity, ideate some clear-sighted goals and move forward.
I strongly believe that everything you need you already have so we will work together to unearth and energise some new and existing personal resources. We will explore your situation, identify obstacles, challenge your thinking, beliefs and barriers. We will reframe some perspectives to bring some clarity and new ways of thinking. We will set direction, goals and strategies with some accountability. We will work on balance, building resilience, confidence and courage to help you to move forward.
My ultimate goal is to encourage and equip you to move from where you are to where you want to be.
Sessions are 1-to-1, confidential and are delivered in a way that suits you either online or in-person. Group coaching is also available on request.
